1. Tour Itinerary
On arrival in Shanghai airport, you will be
met by our tour guide and transferred to your
hotel with a private car and driver. Free
for the remaining of the day. You could have
a rest or take a walk near the hotel.
Tour to Jade Buddha
Temple, Yuyuan Garden and the nearby Yuyuan
Market which is known locally as the City
God Temple. Have lunch, then visit Former
French Concession, Shikumen area, Xintiandi,
and have a stroll over the Bund.
Buddha Temple: Founded in 1882, the Jade
Buddha Temple is a popular tourist destination
for its two magnificent 1.9-meter-high white
jade Buddhas brought from Burma. It is now
an active monastery of Zen Buddhism, with
70 resident monks living and working there.
Yuan Garden: The
most famous garden in Shanghai, located not
far from the Bund. The garden was finished
in 1577; construction of the garden took 20
years. Yuyuan Garden is built in traditional
Chinese style with many beautiful rock formations,
trees, ponds, and pavilions. Doorways and
zigzagging bridges separating the garden into
French Concession: As
a foreign concession in Shanghai, the Former
French Concession neighborhood is very beautiful
- the buildings, the trees. The French Concession
was established on 6 April 1849, when the
French Consul to Shanghai, and it ends in
1943 when the Vichy French government signed
it over to the pro-Japanese puppet government
Bund: With a length
of 1 km, the bund is dotted with various grandiose
solid buildings of western style dating back
to the early this century in its west. Due
to these imposing buildings, the bund is also
reputed as "an international exhibition

train station for high-speed train to Suzhou
in the morning. Upon arrival, be met by our
guide at Suzhou train station and transferred
to your hotel. Visit the Zhuozhengyuan Garden,
Liuyuan Garden and Wangshiyuan Garden.
Garden: Built in
the Ming Dynasty, the garden covers 4 hectares.
Is divided into three parts - the eastern,
middle and western gardens. The middle one
is the most essential part of the entire garden.
With a pool in the center, the architect designed
pavilions, terraces and buildings near the
water, some of which poping out from the water
directly. It is a typical example of the art
of horticulture south of the Yangtze River.
Garden: With an
area of 23,310 sq.m., the Liuyuan Garden has
the layout and the architecture style of the
gardens of the Qing Dynasty. It is celebrated
for its artistic way of dealing with the spaces
between various kinds of architectural form.
Liuyuan Garden was listed as a cultural relic
of national importance in 1961 by the Chinese
Wangshiyuan Garden: The
smallest but the most exquisite of the Suzhou
residential gardens, occupying only half a
hectare of land, yet it is the most impressive
because of its use of space which creates
the illusion of an area that is much greater
than its actual size. It was built in 1174
A.D. during the Song Dynasty.

After breakfast, tour
to Tongli Water Town. Tongli is famous for
its one garden, two halls and three bridges.
Stroll through Tuisiyuan Garden, then visit
Chongben Hall and Jiayin Hall. Walk over the
Taiping Bridge, Jili Bridge and Changqing
Bridge. Take a boat ride on the tranquil waterways
and see the scenery along the canals.
Your guide will transfer
you to railway station to take train to Hangzhou.
Upon arrival, be met by our guide at Hangzhou
train station and transferred to your hotel.
garden covers an area more than 0.65 square
meters. It was constructed between 1885 and
1887 by a scholar / official. The garden is
full of pavilions, terraces, halls, rockeries,
ponds, and other elements each designed as
one part of a harmonious whole.

Visit the West Lake, the Lingyin Temple, the
Six Harmonies Pagoda, the National Silk Museum
of China. Transfer to your hotel or railway
station, end of service.
Lake: One of the
most famed tourist attractions in China. For
centuries, the West Lake has been well known
both for its picturesque landscape and for
cultural heritage surviving yet illustrating
the past dynasties.
Lingyin Temple: Founded
in 326 A.D, and reputed as the No. 1 Temple
in Southeast China. The 24.8-meter tall Buddha
statue in its main hall is the second largest
indoor one in China.
Harmonies Pagoda: A
perfect symbol of brick-and-wood structure
built in the ancient China. It is first built
in 970 AD in the Northern Song dynasty (960-1127),
in a way to press down the evil of the river
tidal bore in Qiantang River.
Silk Museum of China: The
first state-level museum dedicated to silk
culture and the biggest silk museum in the
Hangzhou - Xi'an (Breakfast

for flight to Xi'an. Visit the Shaanxi Provincial
History Museum and the Great Mosque.
Provincial History Museum:
A large-scale modern State-class museum. It
covers an area of about 70,000 square meters,
the architectural area of which is 55,000
odd square meters. It has a collection of
113,000 historic and cultural relics. There
are over 3000 pieces of cultural relics on
display; they are the cream of cultural relics
selected from among the hundreds of thousands
of cultural relics, the majority of which
are worldly treasures.
Built during the reign of Emperor Xuan Zong,
(685-762) in the Tang Dynasty, it is one of
the oldest and most renowned mosques in China.
The mosque has much Chinese tradition in both
design and artistic outlook, without domes,
minarets and dazzling patterns like Arabian
mosques. It is still used by local Muslims

Buried underground for more than 2,200 years,
the 8000 life-size soldiers, chariots and
horses represent the army of the Emperor Qin
Shi Huang who unified China between 230BC-221BC.
In 1987, the Mausoleum of Qin Shi Huang and
Terracotta Warriors were approved by UNESCO
to list in the World Cultural Heritage Site.
Wild Goose Pagoda:
Built in 652 during the Tang Dynasty, it is
a well-preserved holy place for Buddhist with
a history of over 1300 years. The pagoda was
constructed to store the Buddhist scriptures
that were brought by Xuanzang, an eminent
monk who used to study in India from 629 to

The site where the emperors of Ming (1368-1644)
and Qing (1644-1911) dynasties used for worshiping
the God of Heaven. Construction of the Temple
of Heaven began in 1406 and it took 14 years
to complete. The main building - the Circular
Altar, which has three layered terraces with
white marble, is the place where the emperors
China's national opera and it is also China's
traditional art. It combines music, vocal
performance, mime, dance, and acrobatics.
It arose in the late 18th century and became
fully developed and recognized by the mid-19th
century. Traditional opera is very popular
among Chinese people, especially seniors.
Nowadays, appreciting an authentic Beijing
Opera Show in famous Liyuan Theater is a must-do
when you are traveling in Beijing.

Visit Tiananmen Square,
the Forbidden City (the Imperial Palace) and
the Summer Palace. Enjoy the Beijing Roasted
Lying in the center of Beijing, the square
is rectangular in shape and measuring 40 hectares.
Tian'anmen Square is 500 meters wide from
east to west and 880 meter long from north
to south. It can accommodate up to one million
people. At the southern end of Tian'anmen
Square just behind the Monument to the Heroes
of the People, visitors will find The Chairman
Mao's Mausoleum. The historical sites and
the political importance of the area make
it a must-see for travelers to Beijing.
The imperial palace and the home of 24 Emperors
during the Ming (1368-1644) and Qing (1644-1911)
dynasties. Enclosed behind its moat and 9.9m-high
walls are 980 buildings, vast courtyards and
long corridors that occupy a total area of
720,000 square meters. The construction of
the Forbidden City took 14 years and was finished
in 1420. It was listed by UNESCO as a World
Cultural Heritage Site in 1987.
Occupying an area of 290 hectares, it is the
best-preserved and biggest imperial garden
in China. Three quarters of the garden is
made up of shallow lakes. The Summer Palace
was originally constructed as an imperial
garden in 1750, the 100-odd exquisite traditional

pagodas, temples, stone bridges, waterside
gazebos, covered corridors and the famous

Located approximately 45 miles from Beijing,
Mutianyu is the most well-preserved part of
the Great Wall with comparatively less tourist.
It connects Juyongguan Pass in the west to
Gubeikou Great Wall in the east. Mutianyu
Great Wall historically has served as the
northern border of Beijing. The Great Wall
was listed as a World Heritage by UNESCO in
The imperial cemetery of 13 Ming Dynasty (1368-1644)
emperors, they are located in a canyon at
the southern foot of Tianshou Mountain. Ming
Tombs form the most extensive burial complex
of any Chinese dynasty and are one of the
finest preserved pieces of 15th century Chinese
art and architecture. Among them, only the
DingLing Tomb and ChangLing Tomb are opened
to visitors. The Ming Tombs were listed as
a UNESCO World Heritage Site in August 2003.
