1. Tour Itinerary
Upon your arrival in Shanghai, our English-speaking
tour guide will meet you at the airport. After
claiming your luggage, you will easily find
our guide holding a welcome sign with your
name on it. Transfer to your hotel. Afternoon
at leisure to overcome jetlag.
Tour to Jade Buddha
Temple, Yuyuan Garden and the nearby Yuyuan
Market which is known locally as the City
Have lunch, then visit Former French Concession,
Shikumen area, Xintiandi, and have a stroll
over the Bund.
Buddha Temple: Founded in 1882, the Jade
Buddha Temple is a popular tourist destination
for its two magnificent 1.9-meter-high white
jade Buddhas brought from Burma. It is now
an active monastery of Zen Buddhism, with
70 resident monks living and working there.
Yuan Garden: The most
famous garden in Shanghai, located not far
from the Bund. The garden was finished in
1577; construction of the garden took 20 years.
Yuyuan Garden is built in traditional Chinese
style with many beautiful rock formations,
trees, ponds, and pavilions. Doorways and
zigzagging bridges separating the garden into
French Concession: As
a foreign concession in Shanghai, the Former
French Concession neighborhood is very beautiful
- the buildings, the trees. The French Concession
was established on 6 April 1849, when the
French Consul to Shanghai, and it ends in
1943 when the Vichy French government signed
it over to the pro-Japanese puppet government
Bund: With a length of
1 km, the bund is dotted with various grandiose
solid buildings of western style dating back
to the early this century in its west. Due
to these imposing buildings, the bund is also
reputed as "an international exhibition

Our guide pick you up from
your hotel at about 08:00am, and help you
to take high speed train from Shanghai to
Suzhou which takes 30 minutes. Visit the Zhuozhengyuan
Garden (Humble Administrators Garden) and
Liuyuan Garden (Lingering Garden). After lunch,
take a rickshaw and ride through the streets
of Suzhou, see local people's daily life,
folk handicrafts and the ancient buildings.
Drive to Tongli. Stay tonight in Tongli.
Garden: Built in the
Ming Dynasty, the garden covers 4 hectares.
Is divided into three parts - the eastern,
middle and western gardens. The middle one
is the most essential part of the entire garden.
With a pool in the center, the architect designed
pavilions, terraces and buildings near the
water, some of which poping out from the water
directly. It is a typical example of the art
of horticulture south of the Yangtze River.
Garden: With an area
of 23,310 sq.m., the Liuyuan Garden has the
layout and the architecture style of the gardens
of the Qing Dynasty. It is celebrated for
its artistic way of dealing with the spaces
between various kinds of architectural form.
Liuyuan Garden was listed as a cultural relic
of national importance in 1961 by the Chinese

Tongli is famous for
its "one garden, two halls and three bridges".
Stroll through Tuisiyuan Garden, then visit
Chongben Hall and Jiayin Hall. Walk over the
Taiping Bridge, Jili Bridge and Changqing
Bridge. Take a boat ride on the tranquil waterways
and see the scenery along the canals. Be
transferred to Suzhou railway station to board
on the high speed train back to Shanghai.
Garden: The garden
covers an area more than 0.65 square meters.
It was constructed between 1885 and 1887 by
a scholar / official. The garden is full of
pavilions, terraces, halls, rockeries, ponds,
and other elements each designed as one part
of a harmonious whole.
Visit Shanghai Museum and
World Financial Center, the second-tallest
building in the world and the tallest structure
in Mainland China with breathtaking view of
Shanghai. Transfer to the airport for your
departure, end of service.
Museum: A museum of ancient
Chinese art, situated on the People's Square.
The museum is divided into eleven galleries
and three exhibition halls with over 120,000
